StackOne pricing: why it falls short of your integration needs

StackOne offers a unified API that lets you integrate with hundreds of SaaS applications across software categories. They also offer a layer on top of their platform (i.e., a Model Context Protocol server) that lets AI agents access their integrations.
To help you compare the solution with other unified API platforms, we’ll break down how their pricing model works and its pros and cons.
Overview on StackOne pricing
StackOne doesn’t offer any pricing information on their site.

It’s also hard to find any pricing information on 3rd-party review sites. For example, they’ve left their pricing information blank on their G2 profile.

In fact, there’s no pricing information online. A simple search on Google or ChatGPT confirms this.

Like ChatGPT’s output says, this was likely done by design.
On the one hand, it can convey that they are truly committed to providing bespoke pricing based on your specific integration requirements.
On the other hand, it allows their team to easily price discriminate.
They can charge prospects from larger companies more simply because they might have a bigger budget; their sellers can be incentivized to increase prices at the end of quarters to hit their quotas; sellers can also arbitrarily decide which features or capabilities to treat as add-ons based on a prospect's needs—and the list goes on.
This isn’t to say that StackOne’s sellers are doing any of the above. But the company’s opaque pricing model gives their sellers the upper hand in negotiations and the opportunity to behave unfairly if they'd like.
How Merge’s pricing model addresses this drawback
Merge believes in being as transparent as possible.
To that end, Merge offers 3 pricing plans—Launch, Professional, and Enterprise. Merge’s site also lists out everything that comes with each plan.

Merge’s Launch plan gives you the chance to create an account, test a few integrations, and become familiar with their observability features before making any investment.
You’re also encouraged to participate in a proof of concept on Merge’s other plans to validate your integration use cases. In doing so, you can feel confident that Merge is the best integration partner for your business.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, Merge’s integrations, observability features, support for agentic use cases (via Merge MCP), enterprise-grade security features, and go-to-market support all exceed what StackOne provides.
