Compress a PNG, JPEG, WebP or AVIF with TinyPNG, either from base64 bytes (imagebase64) or from a public URL (imageurl) — pass exactly one. Returns an outputid to pass to getcompressedimage, resizeimage or convert_image, plus the before/after sizes. Each call uses one compression from the monthly allowance.
Download a compressed image by outputid and return it base64-encoded. Use this after compressimage when no resize or format change is wanted; use resizeimage or convertimage otherwise. Free — it does not use a compression. IDs expire about an hour after compression.
Resize a compressed image and return the result base64-encoded. Use compressimage first to get an outputid. resize_method 'scale' takes exactly one of width/height; 'fit', 'cover' and 'thumb' take both. Uses one further compression per call.
Convert a compressed image to another format (WebP, JPEG, PNG, AVIF, or '/' for whichever is smallest) and return it base64-encoded. Use compressimage first to get an outputid. Set background when converting transparency to a format without an alpha channel. Uses one further compression per call.
Check that the stored TinyPNG API key is accepted. Sends an empty compression request, which Tinify answers without using any of the monthly allowance.
